CraftsClub: Making Creativity Accessible to All

CraftsClub began with a simple but powerful idea—everyone should have the space, tools, and support to make something amazing.

In 2023, we noticed a gap in Worcester: there was no dedicated maker space for people to explore creativity, test business ideas, or just learn a new skill. So we began laying the foundation for something new—a space that would empower the community through hands-on access to modern digital tools.

What started as small workshops and craft pop-ups quickly grew into something bigger. After conducting market research, engaging with creatives, educators, and local entrepreneurs, we saw the real need for a permanent, inclusive studio space. We designed a vision for CraftsClub: a vibrant, fully equipped makerspace open to all—complete beginners, small businesses, students, and curious minds alike.

We’re currently building Worcester’s first publicly accessible, modern maker space, fitted with 3D printers, Cricut machines, laser engravers, sublimation presses, and more. But CraftsClub is about more than equipment. It’s about community, inclusion, and economic empowerment.
